Analysis: A Difficult Group for the Hosts

Canada will open their home World Cup campaign in front of passionate home crowds, but they have been handed a tough draw. While the home advantage is real, they face a very disciplined Switzerland side that rarely makes mistakes in group stages.

Switzerland are the clear favourites to win the group. They are tactically excellent, well-organised, and almost always advance from the group stage.

Bosnia-Hercegovina have dangerous individual players who can decide matches on their day, while Qatar remain the weakest side in the group after a disappointing showing on home soil in 2022.

This group should be competitive for second place. Canada need a strong start to avoid an early exit, while Bosnia will be looking to cause an upset or two.

Key Players to Watch

🇨🇭 Switzerland: Granit Xhaka, Manuel Akanji, and Breel Embolo bring experience and quality.

🇨🇦 Canada: Jonathan David and Tajon Buchanan are the main threats.

🇧🇦 Bosnia-Hercegovina: Edin Džeko and Sead Kolašinac can still produce magic.

🇶🇦 Qatar: Akram Afif remains their most creative player.

Betting Tips & Value Picks

Group B is likely to be decided by who handles the pressure best. Switzerland are the favourites, but Canada’s home advantage makes second place very much up for grabs. Expect drama and high stakes when the hosts kick off their campaign.
